Pool Deck Installation

a wet and clean road
Installing a pool deck as much as installing a porch or a patio because we need to map the space where you would like the pool deck surface to cover. Many of our clients in Hot Springs, Arkansas are looking to have a pool deck installed around the exterior of their existing pool along with a transitional surface that leads to the adjacent porch or patio. If you would like stairs that lead into the pool or a heart of the material along the side of your pool to hold ladders in place, concrete can easily provide such a solution.

Why Choose Concrete?
We recommend choosing concrete for your pool deck installation project because of the immense durability that concrete can offer. We have continued to use concrete over the years because, when installed correctly, it can provide long-lasting strength and safety to your pool deck's surrounding area. Concrete isn't necessarily invincible to water and can succumb to it if not cared for properly over the years, which is why we recommend adding a sealant to the concrete, if used for a pool deck area, and enlisting the services of professionals who can install concrete with the right ratio mixtures for adequate curing. Concrete is also UV-ray resistant, so it’s the perfect material for a deck that is directly exposed to ongoing sunlight.

Non-slip Material
If you are considering concrete installed in and around your pool deck, you should know that you were making a wise decision especially because of the transition between a non-wet and wet surface. Concrete is able to offer traction and better grip because it has a rigid surface that is also porous. We can highly recommend using concrete both inside of your pool and around it to create a beautiful deck that will keep you and others safe when transitioning into the pool and out of it.

UV-ray Resistant
Along with being a non-slip material, concrete has also been acknowledged for being UV-ray resistant. Often times, with other building materials, they can still combat UV-rays and slowly deteriorate with the more sun exposure that they have. Concrete, on the other hand, is extremely resistant to UV-rays, so you do not have to worry about any potential damage if your deck is directly exposed to sunlight.

Beauty
Along with serving as a nonslip material and a UV-ray resistant material, concrete can also add a stunning aesthetic and natural beauty to your pool deck. Concrete comes in a variety of colors and shapes, depending on your preferences for concrete on your pool deck. If you want to maintain the natural appearance of concrete you can easily do so when installing it into your pool deck, or, you may want to consider customizing it so that it fits the aesthetic of your pool and your outdoor space. If you are unsure and would like some inspiration, we can provide you some feedback on your options and some inspiration on previous pool decks that we have installed concrete on in the past.
